About Lori


Freelance writer, Lori Horbas, specializes on agricultural, environmental, food, leadership and health topics. Her passion is creating profiles with personality.  An accomplished grant writer focused on resilient agriculture, she also facilitates discussions on food, agriculture and the environment.

From 2003 to 2010, Lori Horbas wrote a food and sustainability column for Exchange magazine. Her column, The Joy of Food, gave voice to the personality and place of food and its Midwestern producers.
